Bike transport on the train

According to the Apulia Region’s specific provision, the transportation of bicycles and scooters on regional trains is free of charge, provided that the passenger collects the appropriate free travel pass for the “bike supplement” at the ticket office or at an authorized sales point.

In the event of a missing or incorrect supplement, the passenger will be compensated on board, where availability permits, with the issuing of a supplement at a cost of €2.00.

All foldable bicycles, stored in their appropriate cases, can be transported free of charge, without the need for an additional travel ticket.

Infractions and penalties are regulated by Presidential Decree 753/80 and Regional Law 18/2002.

The Company does not carry out any storage activities and, therefore, is not responsible for theft or tampering with bicycles left parked.
